Job summary

Honeywell is seeking a Senior Advanced PIC Project Engineer to join the Process Information and Control (PIC) team in Des Plaines, IL on a hybrid schedule. You will orchestrate control system projects from concept to delivery, coordinating with cross-functional teams and end-users to ensure successful, on-time performance with strict quality standards.

In this role, you will drive project execution, mentor junior engineers, and uphold ISO 9001 quality practices while advancing process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical or Electrical) is required.
• 7+ years of experience in project engineering or related roles.
• Proven track record delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage risks.
• Experience with PM tools and methodologies.
• Technical expertise in the relevant engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical portion of PIC control system projects from initiation to completion.
• Define PIC project scope, objectives, and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Maintain regular communication with PIC end-users, coordinate meetings, status reports, and FATs.
• Develop and implement project plans with timelines for deliverables.
• Develop and maintain Quality plans for Control System Testing and ISO 9001 adherence.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
• Identify and mitigate risks and issues impacting delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
