Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in technical roles (PI, automation, or related field).
• Hands-on OSIsoft PI / AVEVA PI System administration, development, or support.
• Strong problem-solving skills for PI and equipment integration.
• Experience with PI tags, data collection, interfaces/connectors, and configuration.
• Understanding of networking concepts and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work in GMP or other regulated environments.
• Strong technical documentation and communications skills.
• Ability to collaborate with IT, engineering, lab and manufacturing teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical developer for the PI System, supporting administration, configuration, troubleshooting, and development activities.
• Support the integration and onboarding of new equipment into the PI environment.
• Create, modify, and manage PI tags and related configurations.
• Perform technical compatibility assessments for new equipment, systems, and data sources.
• Work with laboratory and manufacturing equipment to understand how data is generated, collected, and integrated into PI.
• Troubleshoot PI-related technical issues and identify opportunities for system improvements.
• Collaborate with IT, engineering, laboratory, manufacturing teams to ensure reliable data collection and system integration.
• Support work within a GMP-regulated environment, following applicable procedures, documentation requirements, and validation practices.
• Assist with technical documentation, testing, change control, and other activities associated with regulated system implementations.
• Apply an understanding of networking concepts to troubleshoot connectivity and integration issues between equipment, systems, and PI.
• Participate in PI administration and development activities, including configuration and ongoing system maintenance.
