Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Active TS/SCI clearance, or Top Secret with SSBI, and eligible for TS/SCI w/ poly.
• Ph.D. or Master’s in Physics or related STEM with 15+ years in defense/security context.
• Experience developing, analyzing, or validating physics-based models, simulations, or algorithms.
• Fluency in MATLAB, Python, or similar high-level computing language.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Characterize hardened facilities using advanced physics and empirical data.
• Develop physics-based models, simulations, and analysis algorithms for defense.
• Design and validate physics-based computational models to identify weaknesses and exploitation vectors.
• Research high-speed flow phenomenology, detection, characterization, and data exploitation.
• Apply analytical, numerical and experimental techniques to extract information from data sets.
• Perform data analysis, model validation, and uncertainty assessment for algorithms and systems.
• Create efficient implementations of scientific algorithms in MATLAB, Python, or similar languages.
• Document methods and results for peers, leadership and customers.
