Alameda Health System seeks a Physical Therapist Supervisor to lead a small team of therapists, aides, and students. You will perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.

You will coordinate scheduling, participate in discharge planning, and contribute to ongoing staff training and program development. Leadership responsibilities include mentoring PT staff and ensuring high-quality care within the department.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved school of Physical Therapy.
• At least one year of experience as Physical Therapist I or two+ years in a related clinical setting.
• Current licensure with the California Board of Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS - Basic Life Support Certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsabilités

• Supervises a small group of PTs, aides, and students under limited supervision.
• Performs comprehensive PT evaluations and develops treatment plans.
• Documents evaluation results, progress notes, discharge notes, and equipment orders.
• Leads team meetings, discharge planning, and in-service trainings.
• Assigns new patients to team therapists considering workloads and expertise.
• Preceptor responsibilities for PT students and new staff.
