Job summary

UNIVERSITY CARE CENTER is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents, communicate with families and physicians, and maintain medical records. You will lead PT Assistants, develop personalized plans, and provide ongoing staff training while ensuring safety and infection control.

The role requires a PT license, a Bachelor's in Physical Therapy (Masters/Doctorate preferred), and strong documentation skills. On-site position with full-time hours.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Physical Therapy; Master/Doctorate preferred.
• Proficient computer skills; data entry in Net Health and Point Click Care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine PT needs and rehab potential.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
• Supervise PT aides and maintain documentation.
• Communicate with physicians, families, and staff regarding progress.
• Provide in-services and training for facility staff.
• Ensure safe treatment environment and infection control.
