Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a qualified Physical Therapist II for the Dorchester outpatient team. This role provides comprehensive assessments, develops individualized treatment plans, and guides patients toward mobility and independence.

The position reports to Rehabilitation Therapies Supervisors and emphasizes education, collaboration, and quality outcomes. Responsibilities include evaluating patients, documenting progress, and coordinating follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s/Master’s/Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Massachusetts license to practice; CPR certification; APTA/MCAPTA membership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive PT evaluations for inpatients and outpatients.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans per policy.
• Collaborate with healthcare team and educate patients/caregivers.
• Supervise students and contribute to departmental education.
