Job summary

Overland Park Post Acute is seeking a Staff Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with families and the health team. You will supervise PT aides and coordinate care to improve mobility and independence in a facility setting.

In this role, you’ll provide in-services, ensure compliant documentation, and maintain a safe treatment environment while supporting resident safety and quality of care.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist in the state; continuing education per state requirements.
• Experience supervising PT assistants and supportive staff is preferred.
• Proficient with medical records documentation and Net Health/Point Click Care familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents to determine PT needs and rehab potential per orders.
• Develop and update individualized treatment plans to improve mobility and function.
• Supervise PT assistants and train facility staff as needed.
• Communicate progress, goals, and discharge planning with families and physicians.
