Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a security analyst to review alarm metrics, investigate security events, and develop optimized SOPs. You will partner with leadership, compliance, and the Global Security Operations Center to validate findings and enhance response protocols.

The role requires deep experience in security analytics, documenting procedures, and translating complex findings for diverse stakeholders while maintaining meticulous records and driving adoption of new procedures.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in physical security operations or security analysis.
• Ability to analyze security data and identify patterns.
• Experience with incident reporting systems and SOC 2 / ISO 27001.
• Strong written and verbal communication for leadership.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple investigations.
• Willingness to obtain gaming license if required.

Job description

• Review alarm metrics, incident reports, operational data, and security KPIs to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities


• Investigate security events and operational inefficiencies


• Develop and test potential solutions with minimal oversight


• Translate findings into updated SOPs, security procedures, and related documentation


• Partner with the Physical Security Lead, senior leadership, Compliance, and other stakeholders to validate findings and drive adoption of new procedures


• Maintain detailed documentation of analyses, investigations, and recommendations


• Communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences


• Work with the Global Security Operations Center to improve response protocols and escalation pathways

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in physical security operations, security analysis, or a related field such as law enforcement or corporate security


• Demonstrated ability to analyze security data, identify patterns, and recommend actionable improvements


• Experience with incident reporting systems, security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and ISO 27001, alarm management, or security metrics


• Strong communication skills and ability to document procedures and findings clearly for stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership


• Ability to work independently and manage multiple investigations simultaneously


• Experience working across teams and with compliance/regulatory functions in fast-paced environments


• Discretion and accuracy are critical


• May be required to obtain a gaming license issued by the appropriate state agency as a condition of employment
