Job summary

Jobtailor in Philadelphia seeks a Security Systems Administrator to configure and maintain physical security platforms and edge devices, monitor health, storage, and policy compliance.

You will coordinate cross‑team support for servers, storage, and networks, assist with investigations and audits, and provide live monitoring during critical events while training end users and staff on security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 2–3 years of work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Certifications in VMS and PACS are preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule beyond standard Monday through Friday business hours.
• Participation in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency Information and Security Technology support.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with students, faculty, staff, consultants, vendors, and campus visitors.
• Energy, adaptability, and customer-service orientation.
• Ability to successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Willingness and ability to sign and adhere to a confidentiality agreement.

Responsibilities
