Job summary

Jobtailor in Utah is seeking a Senior Corporate Security Engineer to architect and drive risk reduction across endpoint, identity, and data protection. You will partner with IT leadership to align security practices and manage core workflows within the security tool stack.

You will lead threat hunting, vulnerability reviews, and incident response improvements, delivering metrics and executive-level reporting while shaping long-term infrastructure security strategy.

Qualifications

• Direct hands-on experience with Sumo Logic, SentinelOne, Okta, and Google Workspace.
• Experience creating triage workflows and risk intake processes.
• Experience managing vulnerability lifecycles and DLP policies with IT stakeholders.
• Experience in enterprise SOC or detection engineering in SaaS/tech.
• Familiarity with UEBA and integrating threat intelligence into workflows.
• Experience securing AI/ML tooling and using AI to improve efficiency.

• Drive shared priorities, joint backlog execution, and aligned security practices


• Develop operational fluency and manage core workflows across the Corporate Security tool stack


• Reduce corporate security risks across endpoint protection, identity hardening, data exposure, and phishing defense


• Establish a scalable Corporate Security operating model


• Standardize intake, alert triage, incident escalation, exception tracking, and leadership reporting processes


• Develop and tune high-confidence alerting mechanisms and automation


• Reduce alert noise, close visibility gaps, and optimize incident response efficiency


• Conduct threat hunting, vulnerability reviews, and security assessments


• Produce metrics, scorecards, and recommendations for executive leadership


• Apply security principles and guide long-term infrastructure strategy with IT partners

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in corporate security engineering or information security roles


• Direct hands-on experience with Sumo Logic, SentinelOne, Okta, and Google Workspace


• Demonstrated experience creating triage workflows, standard operating procedures, and risk intake processes


• Proven success managing vulnerability lifecycles, identity controls, and DLP policies alongside IT stakeholders


• Experience in enterprise Security Operations Centers (SOC) or specialized detection engineering roles within SaaS or tech environments


• Practical familiarity with User and Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA)


• Experience integrating threat intelligence into active security workflows


• Direct experience securing AI/ML tooling usage


• Experience leveraging AI to accelerate operational efficiency
