Job summary

Rhoads Industries is seeking a seasoned Physical Security Manager to guide and enhance our security program across the Philadelphia Navy Yard facilities. You will assess risks, design controls, and partner with operations, HR, IT, and leadership to protect personnel and assets.

The role requires 10+ years in security, a strong track record in investigations, and experience with industrial environments; CPP/PSP is preferred. On-site presence and some after-hours response are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years of experience in physical security, law enforcement, investigations, and risk management.
• Knowledge of workplace security standards and emergency response practices.
• Experience in industrial, manufacturing, construction, or multi-site environments.
• CPP or PSP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive physical security program across all facilities.
• Manage access control systems, surveillance, alarm monitoring, and vendor relationships.
• Lead Crisis Management planning, evacuation, lockdown procedures, and business continuity.
• Coordinate incident reporting, investigations, and root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and regulators as needed.
