Job summary

Marksman Security LLC seeks a hands-on Security Manager to oversee field operations, protect personnel and assets, and lead a dedicated team. This is a high-visibility role requiring decisive, clear communication and practical decision-making in emergencies and routine security tasks.

You will develop and enforce security protocols, coordinate incident responses, and provide 24/7 on-site support. A relevant degree or equivalent experience is preferred, with CPP/PSP credentials considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in security management, law enforcement, or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Ability to make sound decisions quickly in high-pressure situations.
• Skilled in handling both emergency and routine operational matters effectively.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Flexibility to provide 24/7 support to the on-site security team as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, Security Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CPP, PSP) are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and mentor a team of security personnel to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate daily security operations, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Coordinate and oversee response to incidents, emergencies, and investigations.
• Provide 24/7 availability to support and advise the on-site security team during critical incidents.
• Prepare detailed reports, maintain records, and provide recommendations to leadership.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external partners to support safety and security initiatives.
• Conduct regular training and drills to ensure staff preparedness for emergency situations.
• Continuously assess risks and recommend improvements in security operations.
