Qualifications

• 10+ years of relevant industry experience required.
• Experience leading physical design teams is preferred.
• Track record of having taped out complex chips required.

Responsibilities

• Audit vendor PD flows and methodologies for gaps.
• Suggest improvements to optimize QoR for Apple chips.
• Conduct periodic design reviews for project tracking.
• Review final PD, STA, SI reports for tapeout approval.
• Provide post tapeout support on ECOs and debugging.

Skills

Physical Design experience

Knowledge of digital design concepts

Hands-on experience in Power and Signal Integrity analysis

Proficient in Static Timing Analysis

Ability to debug and fix LVS, DRC, Antenna, ERC issues

Working knowledge of front-end design methodology

Low power / leakage management methodology and techniques
