Job summary

WhiteTech is a remote‑first technology company delivering white‑label and SAAS solutions for EMI, PSP, e‑commerce and open banking platforms. We seek a Senior PHP/Symfony engineer to build and scale a secure, high‑performing product, collaborating across backend and frontend teams in a CET‑friendly remote setup.

You will design and implement RESTful APIs, optimize SQL queries, and integrate external payment services while driving architecture patterns like CQRS and Event Sourcing.

Qualifications

• Proficient in PHP and Symfony with RESTful API design.
• Strong know-how of PostgreSQL and SQL optimization.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes in production environments.
• Deep understanding of OOP, design patterns and SOLID principles.
• Experience with CQRS, Event Sourcing and microservices architectures.
• Familiarity with integration testing frameworks (PHPUnit, Codeception, Behat).

Responsibilities

• Designing, developing, testing, documenting, releasing and supporting software from scratch.
• Enhancing and refining API and backend systems.
• Integrating third‑party solutions to broaden our payment ecosystem.
• Running tests and setting up a testing environment for new features.
• Fixing bugs and debugging the software.
• Preparing technical documentation.
• Providing production support for implemented software.
• Collaborating with front‑end developers and team members.
• Demonstrating troubleshooting skills and curiosity for innovations.
