Lendable is looking for a Senior PHP Engineer to join their Mexico expansion team, aimed at launching a new mobile finance product.

The ideal candidate will have strong PHP skills, ideally with Symfony or Laravel, and experience with automated testing. This position offers flexible working conditions, including a hybrid model with some days on-site.

Qualifications

• Experience in a cross-functional environment.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture is a plus.
• Ability to work in a small cross-functional product team.

Responsibilities

• Work on the expansion of a new mobile finance product.
• Collaborate with product teams and stakeholders.
• Guide and agree API behaviors with frontend engineers.

Skills

Strong English language skills

Modern PHP development experience (PHP 8.0+)

Solid grasp of Symfony or Laravel

Experience with Domain Driven Design

Excellent automated testing skills
