Job summary

Micron Technology in Boise, Idaho seeks a Senior or Staff R&D Photolithography Materials Engineer to drive photoresist chemistry and material selection for advanced memory devices. You will develop new photo materials and integrate them into manufacturing, addressing process and manufacturability improvements across pilot lines.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of chemical processes in lithography (365, 248, 193 nm, EUV).
• Strong statistical analysis and DOE experience; JMP or similar tools preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to present executive summaries.

Responsibilities

• Lead long-term resist screening projects with DOEs and supplier collaboration.
• Direct material optimization and development with suppliers in photolithography chemistry.
• Work in a cleanroom and follow safety procedures while handling photoresists and chemicals.
• Collaborate across sites and organizations within Micron.
• Apply AI to automate data analysis and repetitive workflows.
