Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Beaverton is seeking a seasoned Photolithography Equipment Engineer to support our wafer fabrication line.

You will troubleshoot equipment failures, optimize tool performance, qualify new equipment and materials, and deploy upgrades to improve yield and cycle time. The role requires 5+ years on relevant equipment and a bachelor's in engineering or related field; experience with ASML/Nikon/Canon/TEL is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience on applicable equipment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or related field of study.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting process equipment failures
• Optimizing equipment to match process performance across tools and maximize output
• Qualifying new equipment, new raw materials, and new consumable parts
• Developing and monitoring process and equipment measurements to improve quality
• Designing, prototyping, and deploying equipment upgrades
• Root cause investigation of discrepant material and implementation of yield improvement programs
• Developing improvements to manufacturing processes and modifications to production process flows to improve yield, quality, cost, and cycle time
• Analyzing cycle time and equipment availability/utilization metrics
• Writing operating and equipment maintenance specifications
• Partnering with manufacturing operations to continuously improve factory performance
• Partner with facilities and expansion groups to facilitate tool install and releases
