Job summary

Analog Devices, Beaverton site, is seeking a motivated, experienced engineer for the Photolithography Equipment Engineering Team to support wafer fabrication. Strong preference for experience on applicable toolsets.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment, optimizing performance across tools, qualifying new equipment and materials, and driving yield improvements through process enhancements. The role offers a first shift and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience on applicable equipment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or related field of study.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting process equipment failures
  • Optimizing equipment to match process performance across tools and maximize output
  • Qualifying new equipment, new raw materials, and new consumable parts
  • Developing and monitoring process and equipment measurements to improve quality
  • Designing, prototyping, and deploying equipment upgrades
  • Root cause investigation of discrepant material and implementation of yield improvement programs
  • Developing improvements to manufacturing processes and modifications to production process flows to improve yield, quality, cost, and cycle time
  • Analyzing cycle time and equipment availability/utilization metrics
  • Writing operating and equipment maintenance specifications
  • Partnering with manufacturing operations to continuously improve factory performance
  • Partner with facilities and expansion groups to facilitate tool install and releases

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or related field of study

The Photolithography Equipment Engineering Team is seeking a motivated, experienced individual to provide support to our wafer fab located at ADI’s Beaverton site. Strong preference for experience on applicable toolsets.

Typical Responsibilities include
  • Troubleshooting process equipment failures
  • Optimizing equipment to match process performance across tools and maximize output.
  • Qualifying new equipment, new raw materials, and new consumable parts
  • Developing and monitoring process and equipment measurements to improve quality
  • Designing, prototyping, and deploying equipment upgrades
  • Root cause investigation of discrepant material and implementation of yield improvement programs

Minimum Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience on applicable equipment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, Applied Physics, or related field of study.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working on ASML/Nikon/Canon/TEL
  • Preferred models:
  • Nikon SF100/130/155
  • ASML PAS5500 systems
  • Canon FPA-5550iZ2/3030i6
  • TELACT8
