Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Sr. Phlebotomy Technician in Bloomington, MN, with Monday–Friday shifts and rotational weekends. The role includes performing venous and capillary blood draws, POC testing, and related duties. Travel is required for this position.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3 years of progressive, accomplished experience in POC and phlebotomy preferred.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Prepares staff schedule to provide adequate coverage and updates changes daily.
• Ensures equitable distribution of workload.
• Performs phlebotomy and POC testing as needed.
• Maintains drawing and POC testing carts/trays with necessary supplies.
• Obtains specimens, requisitions, draw blood or perform POC tests as needed.
