Job summary

Talentify is assisting a Medical Research company in Richmond, VA to hire a Phlebotomist III – Floater. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens for lab testing, and explaining procedures to patients, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

The candidate should have 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably phlebotomy certification. PSC/IOP experience and data entry skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3–5 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• Minimum 3 years in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Represent the company to patients and build trust during procedures.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures to patients and conduct blood draws safely and accurately.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors and maintain confidentiality.
• Perform daily activities under supervision, maintain records, and promote a positive image.
