Job summary

Talentify seeks a Phlebotomist II for our Medical Research client in Irondale, AL. The role involves drawing blood, preparing specimens, and providing a compassionate patient experience in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities include maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety practices, and delivering high-quality specimen collection under supervision. Requires a strong customer service orientation and data-entry proficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training is preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience is required.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment is preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience is a must.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company to patients entering the facility.
• Draws quality blood samples and prepares specimens for lab testing.
• Explains procedures to patients and conducts phlebotomy in a safe, accurate manner.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality.
• Under supervision, performs daily activities on time and maintains a professional environment.

Education
