Job summary

Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II for our client in Fairhope, AL, a Clinical Laboratory, to perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge, and maintain accurate records in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The role requires 2+ years of phlebotomy experience, strong customer service skills, and prior hospital experience. You will handle 20–25 draws daily, comply with OSHA regulations, and support specimen transport and result inquiries.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in phlebotomy.
• Recent phlebotomy experience required.
• Customer service experience required.
• Prior hospital experience preferred.
• Ability to perform 20–25 draws daily.
• Work in a 4-floor hospital environment.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood draws, label specimens, centrifuge specimens, record maintenance data and decontamination, update patient information.
• Package specimens for transport and store according to required temperatures; label and prepare for testing.
• Explain venipuncture process clearly and courteously; verify orders and match requisitions.
• Answer telephone calls and read laboratory results to satisfy inquiries.
