Talentify is seeking a Phlebotomist II in Alabaster, AL to collect high-quality blood samples and prepare them for lab testing. The role requires patient-facing duties, adherence to procedures, and a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

The position is contract, onsite with flexible travel across locations, and requires the ability to work CST hours with potential overtime and weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred. Required in California, Nevada, and Washington.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the area supervisor, perform daily activities accurately and on time.
• Maintain a safe and professional environment.
• Performs with confidence phlebotomy duties following established practices and procedures.
• Verify patient demographic info and signatures post-venipuncture to ensure correct labeling.
• Maintain required records and documentation.
• Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients and staff.
