Job summary

DRH Health is seeking a Phlebotomist/Clerk II to perform phlebotomy, including pediatric and geriatric draws, in the Main Laboratory and DRH Outpatient settings. You will assist the Phlebotomy Team, handle difficult draws, answer lab calls, and manage supply orders while upholding DRH Standards of Behavior and patient-centered care.

Qualified candidates have at least 2 years in phlebotomy, a high school diploma, and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 2+ years in phlebotomy.
• Experience in healthcare setting; knowledge of medical terminology.
• Fluency in English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs phlebotomy including pediatric and geriatric; handles difficult draws.
• Greets customers professionally and adheres to DRH behavior standards.
• Maintains proficiency in specimen collection and phlebotomy techniques.
• Assists team to ensure accurate, efficient workflow; trains new staff.
• Monitors supply inventory and notifies leads of low stock.
• Responds to difficult situations and provides troubleshooting guidance.
• Advance duties include problem resolution until complete.
• Maintains safety protocols and complies with vaccination policy.
• Contributes to ongoing education and professional development.
• Attendance and punctuality maintained as required.
