Job summary

Talentify's client, a Medical Research company in Media, PA, is seeking a Phlebotomist II to join their patient-focused team. You will draw quality blood samples, prepare specimens for labs, and explain procedures to patients with professionalism and care.

You will work under supervision to maintain a safe, accurate, and confidential environment while logging essential records and supporting process excellence. Prior phlebotomy experience and data-entry skills are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience required.
• 2+ years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience required.

Responsibilities

• The Phlebotomist II draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures.
• Represents the face of the company to patients and creates an atmosphere of trust while explaining procedures and drawing blood in a skillful, safe, and accurate manner.
• Under the direction of the area supervisor, performs daily activities accurately and on time, maintains a safe and professional environment, and maintains required records and documentation.
• Demonstrates leadership behaviors while focusing on process excellence and confidentiality of patient information.
• Maintains organizational commitment and promotes a positive image to patients, clients, employees and the public in general.
