Job summary

Talentify, on behalf of a Medical Research company, is seeking a Phlebotomist II for their Manahawkin, NJ location. You will be responsible for collecting blood samples, preparing specimens for testing, and maintaining a professional, patient-friendly environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, phlebotomy training and certification preferred, and at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including patient service center exposure.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Represents the company to patients in the clinical setting.
• Draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares specimens for lab testing.
• Explains procedures to patients and draws blood in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.
• Performs daily activities under supervisor; maintains records and documentation with accuracy.
• Maintains a safe and professional environment and promotes a positive image to patients and clients.
