Talentify is assisting a medical research client in Union City, NJ to hire a Phlebotomist II. The role involves drawing quality blood samples, preparing specimens for lab testing, and ensuring patient safety and comfort during procedures.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, phlebotomy certification preferred, and at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including experience in a Patient Service Center environment and strong data-entry skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• 3 years of phlebotomy experience needed.
• Minimum 2 years in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.
• Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
• Keyboard/data entry experience a must.

Responsabilités

• Represent the company to patients and create a trusting atmosphere.
• Draw quality blood samples and prepare specimens for lab testing.
• Explain procedures and perform blood draws in a safe, accurate manner.
• Demonstrate leadership behaviors while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy of patient information.
• Perform daily tasks under supervision, maintain a safe professional environment, and maintain records and documentation.
