The role sits on the senior leadership team, working closely with the CEO to inspire giving, foster stewardship, and deepen community belonging. Strong leadership and donor cultivation are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional fundraising.
• Experience with major gifts, legacy solicitation, and campaign execution.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support the mission.
• Oversee all fundraising activities including major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, and events.
• Ensure fundraising efforts comply with ethical and legal standards and organizational policies.
• Monitor and analyze fundraising data to measure progress and adjust strategies.
• Collaborate with marketing and leadership to craft effective fundraising messaging and materials.
• Lead and mentor a team of philanthropy professionals in their fundraising efforts.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with major donors, foundations, and community partners.
• Provide regular updates to leadership and the Board on fundraising progress.
