Job summary

Blue Ridge Health is seeking a Senior Development Manager to lead a growing philanthropy program in Western North Carolina. You will build donor relationships, manage major gifts, and drive capital initiatives while collaborating with Communications to tell stories of impact.

You will report to the Director of Communications and Development and travel regionally to engage with donors and partners. This leadership role offers hybrid on-site/remote work and competitive benefits in a mission-driven

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years of related experience.
• CFRE certification and healthcare/mission-driven experience valued.
• Experience with Blackbaud fundraising software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy and day-to-day work of Blue Ridge Health’s philanthropic efforts, including major gifts, donor stewardship, annual giving, grants, and capital initiatives.
• Cultivate relationships with donors and prospective supporters, listen to what matters to them, and connect interests with opportunities for impact.
• Help lead future capital campaign efforts.
• Build and strengthen the major gifts program and donor pipeline.
• Develop cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategies.
• Identify new philanthropic opportunities and deepen relationships with existing supporters.
• Collaborate with Communications to tell impact stories and develop donor materials and campaigns.
• Develop annual and long-term fundraising goals and measures of progress.
• Strengthen systems and processes supporting the development program.
• Represent Blue Ridge Health to donors and community partners.
