Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in the practice of pharmacy under supervision, per policy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems, ensuring accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring medications; verify accuracy.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow, and pharmacy inventory management.
• Report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and follow Quality Improvement procedures.
• Support pharmacy staff in clinical services coordination and provider outreach.
