Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy. You will process prescriptions, enter patient data, and support inventory and cash register operations in a fast-paced retail setting.

Required English fluency and flexibility to work evenings/weekends; six months in retail preferred and PTCB certification preferred. The compensation range reflects California market rates for this role.

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prefer PTCB certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in practice of pharmacy and in pharmacy department duties.
• Use pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and check for interactions under supervision.
• Assist with inventory management, stocking, and cash register operations.
