Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in dispensing medications, entering patient data, and ensuring accuracy and safety in daily operations.

The role requires PTCB/ExCPT certification (where applicable), at least one year of retail or hospital tech experience, and fluency in English. You may be asked to support clinical services and participate in training, with a schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (exceptions apply).

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assist in the practice of pharmacy following policy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems.
• Fill prescriptions, verify medicine and check interactions.
• Support inventory management and cashier duties as needed.
• Assist in clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers.
