Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support daily pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision in Kentucky.

You will assist in dispensing prescriptions, enter patient data, check for interactions, and help maintain inventory while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a current PTCB or ExCPT certification, English fluency, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescriptions and checking for interactions.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and process third party claims.
• Support pharmacy department inventory management and ordering.
• Provide customer service and direct customers to OTC products.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures and Good Faith Dispensing.
