Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB certification is required (except in Puerto Rico).
• Minimum of 1 year work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Prior Walgreens experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in processing prescriptions and entering patient and drug information.
• Coach and guide pharmacy technicians and cashiers in operations and cash handling.
• Enter and verify prescription data, ensure accuracy, and assist with scheduling and workflow.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory, order, unpack, and store medications; protect company assets.
• Support customer experience by greeting customers and resolving issues with a distinctive Walgreens service.
