Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician in the United States to support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist. Under supervision, you will fill prescriptions, enter patient and drug information, and help maintain inventory while ensuring compliance with company policies.

You will interact with customers, assist with OTC products, handle cash, and participate in clinical services as needed. Must have PTCB or ExCPT certification and at least one year of retail or hospital experience;

Qualifications

• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing by retrieving, counting and pouring medications.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and check for interactions.
• Support Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in inventory management and workflow.
• Process manual/third-party claims and assist with clerical duties as assigned.
• Assist with customer service at the OTC aisle and cash register.
