Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support all functions of the Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily dispensing prescriptions under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with a lunch break 12:00pm–1:00pm, at 404 W Aero Dr Payson, AZ 85541. You will help fill orders, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with federal and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Arizona or an active Trainee Technician License in the state of Arizona or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment
• Access to reliable transportation with a valid US driver's license

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinic staff
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist
• Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
• Verifies medication stock and enters data to maintain inventory records
• Assist the Pharmacist with pharmacy functions and ensure compliance with federal/state requirements
• Performs clerical duties relating to the department
• Communicates professionally (verbal and written)
• Other duties as assigned
