Job summary

Genoa Healthcare, part of UnitedHealth Group, is seeking a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy in Payson, AZ, dispensing prescriptions and performing clerical duties under a Registered Pharmacist.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm with a lunch break. Active AZ technician license required; pay ranges from $18–$32 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental and vision coverage.

Qualifications

Active AZ Pharmacist Technician license or Trainee license, or ability to obtain within 60 days.
Access to reliable transportation with a valid US driver's license.
Regulatory knowledge and ability to meet standards in a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service to all clinic clients.
Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the Registered Pharmacist.
Orders, receives and stores pharmacy supplies.
Receives and processes wholesale medication orders.
Verifies medication stock and maintains inventory records.
Assist Pharmacist with pharmacy functions and regulatory compliance.
Perform clerical duties for the department.
Communicate clearly verbally and in writing.
Other duties as assigned.
