Genoa Healthcare, part of Optum and UnitedHealth Group, seeks a Senior Pharmacy Technician to support the Genoa mental health pharmacy. You will dispense prescriptions and perform clerical duties under the supervision of a registered pharmacist, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Qualifications

• Active California Pharmacy Technician license
• 1+ year of pharmacy and prescription data entry experience
• Access to reliable transportation and valid US driver's license
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and clinics.
• Fills prescription orders under direct supervision of the pharmacist.
• Orders, receives, and stores pharmacy supplies.
• Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders.
• Verifies stock and updates inventory records.
• Assist the Pharmacist to keep the pharmacy compliant with regulations.
• Perform clerical duties for the department.
• Maintain clear professional verbal and written communication.
• Other duties as assigned.
