Job summary

Walgreens in Indianapolis is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in a busy retail setting. You will enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, check for interactions, and help maintain workflow and inventory under supervision.

You’ll assist with clinical services as needed, interact with customers, and contribute to a friendly, accurate experience. The role requires PTCB/ExCPT certification and flexibility for evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under pharmacist supervision.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems and ensure accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring medications; verify interactions.
• Lead Pharmacy Department inventory management and related duties.
• Support clinical services and coordination with medical providers as needed.
