Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist the pharmacist under supervision, process prescriptions, and support daily duties in a customer-focused environment. You will use pharmacy systems to enter information, help customers, and manage cash register operations.

The role requires PTCB certification or active pursuit, strong math and computer skills, and flexibility to work evenings or weekends. Prior experience in a retail pharmacy is preferred, with emphasis on accurate dispensing

Qualifications

• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• PTCB certification required or obtained as condition of promotion.
• Good math and counting skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy and related duties.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and process prescriptions.
• Provide customer service and help customers locate products to ensure a positive experience.
• Handle cash register transactions and assist with basic store operations.
• Support inventory management and assist clinical services as needed.
