Job summary

Walgreens Co. is hiring a Pharmacy Technician who will assist the pharmacist under direct supervision and support customer service in store operations.

You will help process prescriptions, enter patient data, and coach technicians in pharmacy systems and cash registers. You'll engage customers, resolve issues, and uphold Walgreens policies while contributing to inventory management and financial performance.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist under supervision in dispensing medication.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems and coaches technicians.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting and pouring drugs; verify accuracy and interactions.
• Support inventory management and cash register operation.
• Provide excellent customer service and greet customers.
• Adhere to company policies and Code of Conduct.
