Job summary

Walgreens in Fayetteville, NC seeks a Pharmacy Technician to support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in dispensing, data entry, and customer service. You will assist with inventory, maintain accurate records, and help ensure safety through review of interactions and labeling.

You will also handle routine cashier duties, assist patients at the OTC area, and participate in training to maintain PTCB/ExCPT certification and continuing education.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• One year of pharmacy tech experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in dispensing and verification of prescriptions.
• Enter patient and drug data; check for interactions.
• Support inventory management and merchandising.
• Handle cash register and customer service at OTC areas.
• Process third-party claims and other clerical duties.
• Coordinate with medical community and clinics as needed.
