Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a pharmacy technician to support the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist in daily operations. You will assist with prescription processing, data entry, and customer service in a fast-paced retail setting.

You may handle OTC assistance, cash register duties, and coordination of clinical services as needed. A valid PTCB/ExCPT cert and willingness to obtain immunization certification are required.

Qualifications

• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician is preferred.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy practice under supervision of the pharmacist.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems accurately.
• Fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring medications; check for interactions.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow, and inventory management in the Pharmacy Department.
