Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the practice of pharmacy under pharmacist supervision in accordance with policy.
• Enter patient and drug information into pharmacy systems accurately.
• Fill prescriptions by counting and pouring; verify medicine and check for interactions.
• Assist with scheduling, workflow, and inventory management of the Pharmacy Department.
• Process manual claims for third-party prescription services and handle related clerical tasks.
• Direct customers to OTC products and provide service while maintaining a courteous environment.
• Support pharmacy manager and staff pharmacist in analyzing performance data.
