Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Under the supervision of the pharmacist, assist in pharmacy practice per policy.
• Enter patient and drug information in pharmacy systems; verify accuracy.
• Fill prescriptions by counting and pouring meds; check for interactions.
• Support scheduling and workflow for the Pharmacy Manager and staff.
• Process manual third-party claims promptly and accurately.
• Lead inventory management and arrange shipment handling for Rx drugs.
