Job summary

Health First is seeking a Pharmacy Technician II to deliver advanced expertise in sterile compounding, medication history support, and ADC system oversight (e.g., Pyxis). The role includes coaching nearby Pharmacy Technicians and Trainees to ensure growth and full training coverage.

The position requires Six months of pharmacy tech experience, Florida licensure, and ability to work evenings/weekends/holidays. Strong Microsoft Office skills and independent work capacity are needed.

Qualifications

• Must have competency in sterile compounding and pharmacy workflows.
• Ability to work long and irregular hours including evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word).

Responsibilities

• Prepares sterile and non-sterile compounded medications per USP standards.
• Allocates patient drug history information during admission and assists with reconciliation.
• Maintains ADC systems and tracks issues while supporting diversion controls.
• Educates pharmacy associates and provides cross-functional training.
• Performs inventory management with cycle counts and expiry tracking.
• Collaborates with clinical staff to ensure a safe, high-quality environment.
• Coaches and trains new associates in pharmacy functions.
• Ensures compliance with Florida state and FDA/DEA regulations.
