Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support the pharmacist in day-to-day operations in our store. You will enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, and help manage inventory and cash handling.

You will contribute to a compliant and efficient workflow, assist with clinical services as needed, and ensure high-quality patient care. Strong English communication and a flexible schedule are required.

Qualifications

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist in pharmacy under supervision, entering patient and drug information.
• Fill prescriptions by counting and pouring drugs and verify accuracy.
• Enter and check possible drug interactions.
• Manage pharmacy department inventory and ordering.
• Handle cash and assist with cash register operations and pickups.
• Support clinical services and coordination with healthcare providers.
