Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to support patient care and pharmacy operations under the supervision of the pharmacist. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, managing patient data, and contributing to efficient workflow.

The role requires PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico), at least one year of retail or hospital experience, and English fluency. Flexibility to work evenings/weekends and willingness to obtain immunization certification are required.

Formación

• PTCB or ExCPT certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision to dispense prescriptions and manage pharmacy workflow.
• Enter patient and drug information, fill prescriptions, verify medicine and check for interactions.
• Lead inventory management activities, including ordering and inspecting shipments.
• Assist customers by guiding to OTC products and handling phone inquiries.
• Support pharmacy operations and the Pickup program, maintain department cleanliness and organization.
