Walgreen Co. is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists under supervision, enter patient and drug information, and help process prescriptions. The role includes coaching technicians, operating pharmacy systems, and maintaining accurate records while ensuring a positive customer experience.

Expect to greet customers, resolve questions, and support inventory and cash handling processes. A flexible schedule, English fluency, and PTCB certification are required, with immunization

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Requires willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire (except in Community Specialty Pharmacy, Health System Pharmacy locations, or in locations where this role is covered under a collective bargaining agreement)

Responsabilités

• Assist the pharmacist under supervision in the practice of pharmacy.
• Operate pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information and process prescriptions; coach technicians and cashiers.
• Maintain customer experience by greeting and assisting customers and resolving issues.
