Olympia Fields Hospital is seeking an Advanced Pharmacy Technician to support pharmacists in daily operations across inpatient and retail areas. The role includes IV and hazardous drug compounding responsibilities, inventory management, QA and auditing tasks, and training entry-level technicians.

The position is full-time with variable shifts, based in Olympia Fields, IL, within the Hospital's Pharmacy Department.

Competenze

High school diploma or equivalent required.
State Pharmacy Technician License/Registration required.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential required (may be waived for current pharmacy students).
At least 2 years of pharmacy technician experience in the current practice area (inpatient or retail) required.
Additional certifications through PTCB preferred (e.g., CSPT, Nonsterile Compounding, Inventory Management, Immunizations).

Mansioni

Assists the Pharmacist in the daily operation of the Pharmacy under supervision.
For inpatient areas, has 2+ years of experience and may be IV/hazardous drug trained; roles in operations and training.
For retail areas, performs QA and auditing tasks and aids training for entry-level technicians.
